New Delhi: In protest against the gangrape incident in Kathua and Unna, the Congress party conducted a canal march on Thursday at 12.00 pm on Thursday at the India Gate. Violence and rape cases are coming up constantly with the girls and women, which is unfortunate.

Earlier, Congress President Rahul Gandhi raised the question about the gang rape and his brutal murder in Kathua after the attack on PM Narendra Modi on the Unnao Rape case. He described the incident of rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl in Kathua of Jammu and Kashmir as "unimaginable cruelty".
Rahul Gandhi wondered how any person can demand to save the culprits? The Congress President tweeted, "They should not leave without punishing them." Rahul also criticized the politics of this crime. He said, "How can one protect the guilty of this kind of sin?"
He said that violence against any child is a crime against humanity. He tweeted, "What have we become that we will allow political interference in such unimaginable cruelty done by a malicious child."
It is worth mentioning that the girl from Bakkarwal Muslim community had gone missing on January 10 from her house located in Rasna village in Kathua of Jammu and Kashmir. A week later, his body was found in the same area. A Special Investigating Team (SIT) constituted to investigate the incident has arrested eight people, including two special police officers (SPOs) and one head constable. These policemen are accused of destroying evidence.
Since this incident of rape and murder, there has been a rage in Jammu. The city's Bar Association has opposed the action against the accused and has alleged that minority Dogra community is being targeted. At the same time, there has been demonstrations in the Kashmir Valley demanding justice for the deceased.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had tweeted yesterday about the Unnao rape case saying that the vandalism of a father, who is praying for justice for his daughter in UP has embarrassed humanity. It is hoped that the Prime Minister will keep fast for the atrocities on women in the BJP rule, failure of law machinery and increasing chaos too soon.
