Two investors have made a deal together to buy Sahara Group's US-based 'Plaza Hotel' for $ 60 million (about Rs 4,000 crore). Subrata Roy has a 70 percent stake in this hotel. This has been said in a media report.
According to the New York Times, Shahl Khan, founder of White City Ventures in Dubai and Kamran Hakim of Hakim Organization, has made a deal to purchase the majority of the Plaza Hotel for $ 60 million. This deal is expected to be completed on June 25.
It has been said in the report that Sant Singh Wadhwa, corporate finance head of Sahara Group and Sant Singh Chatwal, who holds 5 percent stake in the hotel, confirmed the deal.
