Taliban dominance in Afghanistan is increasing gradually. Many areas of Taliban Afghanistan have been occupied and the process continues. An Afghanistan official says that the Taliban has captured another district of the northern province of Badakhshan.
Giving more information on this subject, a member of the provincial council Abdullah Nazi Nazari said, "The terrorists suddenly launched a raid in the strategically important Kohistan district which falls on the path towards the provincial capital Faizabad." However, according to Nazi, no one died in this attack.
He said that the Badakhshan province is the third district on which Afghanistan has taken possession of it. He said that there are 24 districts in this state. Of the three districts, the Taliban have taken possession of themselves. On this case, army spokesman Annef Rezai in the northern Balkh province said that "military forces have arrived in Faizabad but due to bad weather in the region, they have not received orders to take action against the Taliban."
