According to the report, Nepal's GHI score was 42.5 in 1992 and in 2017 this had reduced to 22. GHI does not calculate it in countries with rich countries and small population. In 2000, Nepal's GHI score was in the category of danger. In the GHI list of 119 countries, Nepal was ranked 72st. Nepal was ahead of Sri Lanka (84th), Bangladesh (90), India (97), Pakistan (107) and Afghanistan (111th) with this place.
